Frequently asked questions
+What is a liquidation pallet?
A liquidation pallet is a mixed lot of goods sold as one unit — typically customer returns, overstock, shelf pulls or closeouts moved out of a retailer's or supplier's inventory at a wholesale price.
+What does 'manifested' mean?
A manifested lot comes with an item-level list of contents: item description, SKU, quantity, unit retail and condition. Unmanifested lots are described at category level only.
+Is estimated retail value what I will sell it for?
No. Estimated retail value is a reference figure calculated from manifest unit retail. It is not a resale forecast and does not guarantee condition, quantity or margin.
+Can I inspect a lot before buying?
Most lots are sold uninspected and as-is. Listings state when units were individually tested. Inspect freight at delivery and note any damage on the delivery receipt.
+How is freight handled?
Lots ship LTL or full truckload from the origin warehouse shown on the listing. Every listing has an instant freight estimator and a request form for a carrier-confirmed rate.
+Do I need a loading dock?
Truckloads require a dock or yard with unloading equipment. Single pallets can usually be delivered with a liftgate, which is quoted as an accessorial charge.
+Can I pick up at the warehouse?
Dock pickup is offered on some listings by scheduled appointment at the origin warehouse. The listing states whether pickup is available.
+When is payment due?
Payment is due in full before freight is released. Accepted methods and any processing fees are listed on the payment information page.
+What if the lot does not match the manifest?
Where a manifest is supplied and the delivered lot materially differs from it, file a claim with photographs within 5 business days of delivery and we will review it with the seller.
+Do you ship outside the United States?
No. Liquidation Hubs serves buyers with U.S. delivery addresses only.
+Do I need a resale certificate?
Requirements depend on your state and the seller. Keep your business details in your buyer account so any required documentation can be supplied at checkout.
+Can I sell my excess inventory here?
Yes. Suppliers with overstock, returns or closeout inventory can request a supplier listing through the quote form.
